Organizational booklets include Manual for sisterhoods (1954) by Ruth Jacobson, with supplement, 1959, including annotations, and a local manual, written by Helen Kohn Hennig, Procedure and Administration for the Tree of Life Sisterhood (1957). Historical items include: souvenir program, 1946, Golden Anniversary Celegration; Jewish Pioneers in S.C. [undated; folder 6]; Portraits of the Past (1985); Reminisencies of Helen Kohn Hennig, written by her son, Julian Hennig, Jr., Aug. 1985 [folder 23]; and That Wonderful Year - 50 Years of Sisterhood (1976); and undated essay re the group's antecedents as the Laidies' Aid Society, founded in 1905, which in 1914 joined the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods [legal size folder].
